About Us

The Guilderland Lettermen Foundation (GLF) is a 501©3 non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to student athletes who graduate from Guilderland Central High School. Our mission is to raise money to issue monetary awards to selected graduating seniors from Guilderland High School who letter in at least two varsity sports, maintain high academics and participate in community service, to be used to offset their college expenses. In 2023, the Lettermen Foundation issued $13,500.00 in monetary awards. We funded the banners that hang in the gymnasium to honor the “twelve sport” athletes. We also made over $3,000.00 in donations to the Regional Food Bank to benefit the Guilderland “backpack” program, and donations to the Guilderland Food Pantry to benefit the Altamont Elementary “backpack” program, among others. To date, the foundation has donated over $141,000.00
